Challenge
A well recognized team required to expand its existing sponsor base. The commercial team and the team identity had been changed several times, resulting in a stalled commercial strategy. The team needed to craft a clear marketing message and sell it to targeted sponsors.
Solution
By analyzing the team profile and its positioning relative to competitors, a team identity that was clear and unique was established. Through a series of workshops a marketing plan was created to define a substantive value proposition for the team to become a saleable unique commercial product. A sales plan was designed and implemented using in-house resources and agents.
